Hong Kong, August 28, 2025 — AlloyX Group announced the official opening of its Global AI & Blockchain Technology R&D Center, becoming one of the first enterprises to move into CAI Tower in Hong Kong.
Acquired and renamed in May 2025 by renowned angel investor Mr. Wensheng Cai, CAI Tower is positioned as an “AI × Web3 Open Incubator” designed to address three major challenges in Hong Kong’s technology innovation ecosystem:
Urban accessibility and integrated amenities
Cost pressures due to limited shared space and administrative burden
Ecosystem gaps between AI and Web3 collaboration
By offering real-world testing environments, CAI Tower aims to support Hong Kong’s transition from a financial center to a technology and innovation hub.
AlloyX’s new R&D center will focus on applying AI technologies to advance payment infrastructure, RWA standardization, cryptographic algorithms, and wallet security. The center also aims to foster collaboration between industry, academia, and capital partners, accelerating the commercialization of AI and blockchain innovations across the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
“With Hong Kong as our base and CAI Tower as our hub, we will focus on using AI to optimize payments, standardize RWA, enhance cryptographic security, and strengthen wallet infrastructure,” said Dr. Thomas Zhu, Co-Founder & CEO of AlloyX Group. “Our goal is to build an open research network that promotes compliant, scalable adoption of AI and blockchain technologies.”
Dr. Tim Yang, Head of AI Quantitative Research at AlloyX, added: “We aim to create an AI × Web3 innovation platform powered by large-scale AI models capable of learning from on-chain data and cross-chain liquidity pools. This will provide a strong AI backbone for digital asset pricing and risk management.”
Mr. Wensheng Cai, Founder of Longling Capital, commented: “We warmly welcome AlloyX to CAI Tower and look forward to seeing AlloyX drive further AI and blockchain innovation, contributing to Hong Kong’s rise as a world-class technology hub.”
